BeetleCam comes to Luangwa

Earlier in the month we were lucky to have professional wildlife photographer Will Burrard-Lucas stay with us at Mfuwe Lodge for a few days.

In August Will moved to Zambia for a year, while his wife, Nat, works as a doctor at St Francis Hospital in Katete. Will has been taking wildlife photographs seriously since 2004, but in 2009 he embarked on a new challenge - to get unique close-up, ground level photographs of African wildlife - and so BeetleCam was born; a remote controlled buggy with a DSLR camera mounted on top.

Will brought BeetleCam with him during his visit to Mfuwe and the result was some awesome ground level photos of some of Luangwa's wildlife - which we thought we would share with you below. We hope Will will be returning through out his year stint in Zambia and we will be able to share plenty more of his BeetleCam photos with you via our website.
