Dear %PERS_NAME%

Did You Know... The puku (Kobus vardonii), common in South Luangwa, was first "collected" on the Zambezi River in about 1853 by the missionary and explorer Dr. David Livingstone? He first called it "poku", taken from the local Tswana or Lozi language, but then gave it the more scientific name "Antilope vardonii" in honour of his friend, Major Frank Vardon, an English elephant hunter.
