Did You Know... the first African Pitta has been sighted near Bilimungwe Bushcamp. These "forest jewels" appropriately migrate here from West Africa at the start of our "emerald season". With such beautiful plumage, any sighting of this elusive, secretive creature is a real highlight for bird lovers…and a major tick on the species list!
