Dear %PERS_NAME%

Did you know... Southern grey crowned cranes often stamp their feet as they walk? This is to flush out insects, which are quickly caught and eaten. Crowned cranes are omnivores and have a wide diet, eating plants, seeds, grain, insects, frogs, worms, snakes, small fish and the eggs of aquatic animals. The birds are often seen associating with larger herbivores, benefiting from the ability to grab prey items disturbed by their grazing.
