Did you know...
a giraffe's neck is around 6 feet (1.8m) long, weighs about 600 pounds
(272kg), but only has 7 vertebrae... just like a human? It is extremely
flexible due the vertebrae being connected by ball-and-socket joints, which
offer a 360 degree range of movement.
