Did you know...
The "emerald season" has finally arrived? After a slow
start to the annual rains, South Luangwa is now looking green and lush, with
an abundance of food and water for all the animals. Although elephants will
eat all kinds of vegetation, they love the new, nutritious grasses that are
now covering the valley floor. This is a great time of year to watch happy,
well fed animals!
