Did you know...
wild elephants are naturally diurnal and tend to sleep, in a series
of naps, for around four hours per night? Although they often sleep standing
up they will also lie on their sides, breathing noisily and sometimes
snoring through their trunks. In very hot weather elephants seek out cool,
shady places to take forty winks....
