Cattle egrets and large mammals exhibit a type of symbiotic relationship called 'commensalism'? The movement of foraging mammals, such as elephants, dislodges various insects, which the following egrets feed on. The mammals also benefit from a reduction in the number of flies and other biting bugs that bother them.
