Accommodation and Activities
Kukaya, a beautiful, unique lodge with tented thatched chalets, is where our festival will take place. Owned by the Bushcamp Company, it is set in pristine bush overlooking permanent water holes, only 2.5 kilometres from the main gate of the South Luangwa. We have access to five double units (each with two ensuite bedrooms) and one single unit for two guests.
Depending on bookings, we may take over the whole camp but if not, we’ll eat and socialise as a distinct group. Each unit has its own swimming pool and fire pit. During our stay, we will alternate between morning and evening game drives, visits to the hide for photography, or time with a local conservationist.
Inclusion
Our fully inclusive package deal, which starts and finishes at Mfuwe Airport, includes meals, bar and laundry – everything you need to enjoy your stay, from transportation to and from Mfuwe airport, to conservation fees and a ‘keyring’ for conservation. Also includes hosting by Margot Raggett and Tristan Dicks plus all activities.
Exclusion
The following are not included: gratuities, personal items, any flights, gate entrance fees, craft gins, rum, single malt whiskey and speciality wines.
