Welcoming Andrew Sinclair as Manager, Revenue and Trade Relations

Andrew joins us at a pivotal moment as we continue to strengthen and deepen our engagement with the global safari trade while building the next chapter of The Bushcamp Company’s growth. His arrival comes at exactly the right time to lead our trade relationship strategy, nurture long-standing partnerships, and actively develop new relationships across key international markets.

With over a decade of experience in the safari and travel industry, Andrew brings a rare blend of commercial insight, hands-on safari product knowledge, and relationship-driven sales expertise. His background spans senior safari consulting roles, running his own successful tour operator, and working closely with luxury lodges, DMCs, and international travel advisors across Southern and East Africa. Throughout his career, Andrew has been deeply involved in designing bespoke safari journeys, negotiating rates and availability, and matching the right guests to the right experiences—a skill set that translates seamlessly into leading revenue strategy and trade engagement for a premier safari operator.

Andrew is particularly eager to personally connect with our valued long-standing trade partners, to listen, learn, and ensure that these trusted relationships continue to thrive. At the same time, he is focused on expanding The Bushcamp Company’s reach by building new partnerships with aligned operators, advisors, and networks who share our commitment to authenticity, excellence, and conservation-led tourism. He is passionate about telling our story well, advocating for our product, and helping the trade confidently position Bushcamp as a cornerstone of any exceptional African safari.

This role is of significant importance—not only to our commercial performance, but also to South Luangwa National Park and the Luangwa Valley as a whole. As the largest safari operator within South Luangwa National Park, The Bushcamp Company plays a vital role in conservation, employment, guide development, and the long-term sustainability of this globally important wilderness area.

The Bushcamp Company operates eight iconic camps inside South Luangwa National Park, thoughtfully designed to function as a seamless safari circuit. Our two gateway camps, located just inside the park entrance, ease guests into the rhythm of the bush, while our six renowned bushcamps are set deep within a vast, exclusive-use concession in the game-rich southern sector of the park. This unique geographical footprint allows guests to move through diverse habitats with minimal drive times while experiencing a true sense of remoteness and immersion.

This carefully curated circuit—combined with our world-renowned walking safari heritage and expert guide team—creates what is widely regarded as the most complete and unforgettable walking safari experience in Africa. We pair this legacy with distinctive, thoughtfully curated experiences that celebrate classic safari traditions while delivering exceptional comfort, storytelling, and connection to place.

Andrew’s role is central to ensuring that the global safari trade fully understands, values, and successfully sells this unparalleled offering. His ability to bridge product passion with commercial discipline makes him exceptionally well-suited to stewarding our trade relationships and revenue strategy into the future.

We are thrilled to welcome Andrew Sinclair to The Bushcamp Company and look forward to the energy, commitment, and fresh perspective he brings. His appointment strengthens not only our commercial leadership, but also our ability to continue sharing the storied legacy of The Bushcamp Company—and of South Luangwa—with the world.

Please join us in extending a very warm welcome to Andrew.
