The Farm Table Experience
Come Learn What Farm to Table Really Means
The early explorers who entered this valley lived entirely off the land around them. They had no choice. What grew here fed them. What the land offered, they took gratefully.
The Bushcamp Company's farm is a continuation of that philosophy — a working smallholding that supplies close to 100% of the produce used across all eight properties. Vegetables picked that morning. Herbs gathered before breakfast. Fruit that ripened in the Luangwa sun rather than in a shipping container.
The Farm is a chance to understand where the food actually comes from. A table is set under shade, the menu built from whatever the farm is producing that week. Wine arrives. A guide or farm manager joins you — not to lecture but to talk — about what grows here, how the soil has changed, what the chefs ask for each season.
It is a different kind of afternoon. Quieter than the bush, greener, more rooted. And then, having seen where the food comes from, dinner back at camp tastes slightly different. The early explorers understood that. Now you will too.
